The 4000-A 1-1/2 is a 250 class cast iron blowdown valve with 1-1/2" NPT connections, and is rated for blow-off service up to 200 PSIG. The 4000 series features a heavy spring hold disc that, when actuated, slides across the body seat pushing harmful boiler scale away, and wiping clean the precision lapped surface.
