The 897 Sight Glass is a premium, bronze-armored sight glass tailored for industrial applications. Its robust design allows operators to confidently monitor water levels, while minimizing the risk of breakage. The 7-3/4” viewable area ensures exceptional clarity and reliability. Engineered to comply with boiler and pressure vessel code section 1 & ASME B31.1 standards, it can be used to maintain 11-1/2” center-to-center dimensions.

- 300 WSP @ 450° F max
- 600 WOG @ ambient temperature
- 100% pressure tested @ 900 PSI
- Threaded 1/2” FNPT ends
- 7-3/4” viewable area
- Engineered to boiler and pressure vessel code section 1 & ASME B31.1
- Can be used to maintain 11-1/2” center-to-center dimensions
- Can be paired with 900 series 1/2" and 3/4" sight glass valves to make a complete gauge set to mount to McDonnell and Miller center dimensions
- Compatible with McDonnell Miller 157S, 157S-A, 157S-R, 157S-RL,193, 193-A, 193-B, 193-D, 193-G
- Install using united brass gauge valve sets only (shown below)
